Care N Assist moved into its newly renovated building at 101 S Shiawassee Street in Corunna one year ago. The owner Daniel Story says, “One year ago I remember being so happy seeing all that was accomplished.” Due to the hustle and bustle last January, we still hadn’t named the Adult Day Care.
The program will be called “Pat’s Place.” In honor of three past clients, each having the name Pat, who have graced our program with their smiles. We love having visitors and need volunteers, so visit us some time and we will be glad to share the rest of the story with you.
It has been a real joy to see our clients coming to Pat’s Place for memory care services on a daily basis. You can see our love and dedication for the holidays in the picture. The staff and volunteers do quite a job of decorating and making the seasons bright.
Care N Assist has managed Pat’s Place with grant funding support by the Valley Area Agency on Aging since 2008. These services can be free of charge for persons 60+ and having mild to moderate dementia. We are pleased to help a variety of clients having many different needs or backgrounds.
Pat’s Place is available from 6am-5pm, Monday through Friday at Care N Assist In-Home Care’s main office. Lunch, snacks, and activities supplies are included with the cost of services.
