Marshall is a wonderful community to be a part of and as the County seat, it makes it possible to provide services in the surrounding areas of Battle Creek, Albion, Coldwater, and Olivet.
Providing the services that are needed in our area is a great honor. We enjoy contracts with the Veterans Administration, Aetna, Meridian, CareWell Services (Area Agency on Aging 3B), Senior Health Partners and with MDHHS. We also work with Long Term Care Insurances, Auto insurances, and Workers Compensation insurances.

Hello. I’m writing this short note on behalf of my mother’s (Martha Brown – Battle Creek, MI) Homejoy Helper Angela Street. With my siblings and I being out of state, it is a real comfort to know that Angela is 100% committed to the care of our Mother.

“My mother is elderly and has some dementia. She did not want to leave her home so we have been getting help from HomeJoy since the summer of 2016. The home health aides come several times a week to check on her welfare and environment, do some light housekeeping, and help her with meals. They even help her with the care of her two cats!
She has had several different aides over this time period. They have been wonderful, but my mother can be difficult at times, so we have had to work through some adjustment issues. The staff at this agency have been very supportive and understanding and willing to work out the problems. Our aide now is amazing-she has a very calming influence on my mother and has a lot of insight into the dementia disease. She is reliable, kind, and always communicates any problems or concerns that she observes. She is extra eyes on my mom when I can’t be there and I can’t thank her enough.
Tracy in the office is always available and quickly responds to any concerns that arise. I don’t know how we would have survived this far without HomeJoy. I would (and have) recommend them to a friend.”

Hello, I am Daniel Story, Owner of HomeJoy™ of Marshall. I am a Registered Nurse and an entrepreneur. I have enjoyed using my nursing expertise to build a business that serves the goal of helping people live at home after injury or illness.
I am married and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. I enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking and golfing. Most weeks I can be found out in my yard doing lawn work or down in my workshop doing woodworking of some sort. My most recent build was 3 guitar stands made with zebra wood.
HomeJoy™ is my passion. I started this company in 2005 after seeing a huge need for trustworthy services which meet the client’s goals. It took me three years to convince my wife I could run a business, and here we are 17 years later with multiple offices and thousands of clients served. I would be thrilled for the opportunity to help you as well.
