Here in Three Rivers we pride ourselves in being home all about small town kindness and customer service. We have a great staff that love living and working in St Joseph County. From Marcellus to Sturgis and Mendon to Cassopolis we serve clients who need assistance to live in their homes.

Providing the services that are needed in our area is a great honor. We enjoy contracts with the Veterans Administration, Aetna, Meridian, CareWell Services (Area Agency on Aging 3B), St Joseph Community Mental Health and with MDHHS.

We also work with Long Term Care Insurances, Auto insurances, and Workers Compensation insurances. These contracts make up a majority of our business, but many of our clients still pay privately for services. Give us a call to inquire more about how we can provide services for you; 269-273-0640.

When our 96-year-old mother was hospitalized for an illness, we knew she would not be able to live alone in her home again without help.  However, like many seniors, she wanted to be in her own home.  We researched what her options were, and thankfully, we called HomeJoy™ to learn more about their services.  The initial phone call was very comforting and helpful and we scheduled a time to meet at our mother’s home for a consultation.  The consultation provided an opportunity for the HomeJoy™ staff to evaluate the needs of our mother, observe her surroundings, and learn about her personally; just as important, it allowed our family an opportunity to meet them and ask the many questions that we had.

Our mother has now been having in-home care from HomeJoy™ since March 2017.  The staff used that consultation to very consciously select the very lovely ladies (Home Care Aides) that provide care for our mother each day, on a schedule that best fits her needs.  The ladies help with meal prep, housekeeping, dressing and hygiene, medication reminders, periodic errands, bedtime routine, and the countless other things that need attention on a daily basis.  This help allows our mother to live independently in her home, but what is truly priceless is the safety, smiles, laughter, companionship and peace of mind they provide.  Our mother has said many times, “the ladies feel like members of our family.”

Darcey Ridenour

Office Manager

My name is Darcey Ridenour. I have pursued marriage, education, parenting, and leadership with pizzaz… and I am not just talking about my hair! I graduated with honors from Schoolcraft High School in 1999 and now have three children.

I have worked as a GM certified warranty clerk at Cole Motor Company and as a Specialized Scheduler for Borgess ProMed. During that time, I finished my education as a dental assistant and worked in dentistry for five years.

I then joined the HomeJoy™ team first as a Home Care Aide in 2015 but was quickly promoted to Staffing Coordinator in 2016. I am now our Office Manager where I lead our team with a blend of visionary, coaching, and servant leadership styles. On a daily basis, I’m supporting our team of home care aides with information and motivation. It is not uncommon for me to give rides, participate in a fundraiser, or help someone talk through their grief.

I am a leader in our community, and am very proud to lead our TEAM!!

I work hard and take great pride in my work where I truly enjoy making sure that other people receive the best care and are safe in their homes.
